The Five "I Wills" and the Recycled Lie. |
Discover how Satan uses the Isaiah 14 lie and Jonah’s childhood trauma to deceive the modern church into the trap of self-deification.
The Blueprint of Deception
In this teaching, we pull back the curtain on the oldest trick in the universe: Self-Deification. We explore the "same-lie" strategy used by the fallen morning star, first in the corridors of Heaven and later in the Garden of Eden. By connecting the prophetic insights of Isaiah 14 with the historical trauma of Jonah, we reveal how the enemy targets specific human vulnerabilities—particularly the desire to "become" something more through external means or internal bitterness. We uncover the mystery of why the enemy chooses his victims from childhood to ensure that by the time they reach their divine calling, they are too trapped in their own "justice" to fulfill God’s mercy.
The Recycled Lie: From Heaven to the Garden
If you want to understand your enemy, you must realize he is not creative; he is repetitive. The same pride that caused a high-ranking cherub to fall from grace is the same bait he puts on his hook today.
In Isaiah 14:13-14, we see the heart of the mystery. Lucifer didn’t want to destroy God; he wanted to be God. He said in his heart:
- "I will ascend into heaven..."
- "I will exalt my throne above the stars of God..."
- "I will be like the Most High."
Fast forward to the Garden of Eden. When the serpent approached the woman, he didn’t invent a new sin; he simply repackaged his own terminal illness. He told Eve, "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:5).
The Revelation: The fall of man wasn’t just about eating a piece of fruit; it was about the illegal craving for a status that belongs only to the Creator. It was the birth of "Self-ism."
Why the Woman? The Mystery of the "Becoming" Nature
Many ask, why did Satan bypass Adam and go straight to the woman?" To understand this, we must look at the intrinsic nature of the woman. By design, a woman is a creature of process, beauty, and enhancement. She is the "finisher" of creation.
- Adam was a creature of "Doing": His mandate was to till and protect.
- Eve was a creature of "Being": Her nature is one that is always looking to "be" or "become."
The devil, being a master strategist, saw this beautiful desire to "become" and twisted it. He suggested she was incomplete—a "lack" that only the fruit could fix. Today, we see this played out in a world obsessed with external transformations. When we seek to change who we are through material attachments or social status rather than through the Holy Spirit, we are walking the thin line of that ancient Edenic trap.

Pre-Meditated Bitterness" and "When Man Tries to Play God. |
The Childhood Trap: The Mystery of Jonah and the Assyrian "Case"
The enemy is a "legalist" who plays the long game. He doesn't just attack adults; he maps your future by looking at your childhood environment to see what seeds of bitterness he can plant.
1. The Strategy of "Pre-Meditated Bitterness"
Consider Jonah. Most think he was just a stubborn prophet, but he was a victim of a generational setup. The Assyrians (Nineveh) were the terrorists of the ancient world, known for skinning victims alive. Jonah grew up in a nation traumatized by Assyrian cruelty.
The devil targeted Jonah’s "frequency" from childhood. He allowed Jonah to witness this pain so that a root of bitterness would grow. By the time God called Jonah as an adult, the devil had already built a "throne of judgment" in Jonah's heart.
2. When Man Tries to Play God (The Payback Trap)
When God told Jonah to preach to Nineveh, Jonah’s refusal was an act of Self-Deification. In his mind, he was saying: "God, You are being too kind. My justice is more 'just' than Your mercy."
This is the same spirit that was in Satan. Jonah, caught in the human nature of "paying back evil for evil," tried to veto God’s plan. He wanted God to be a "hitman" for Israel’s vengeance rather than a Savior for Nineveh’s repentance. We must realize that the desire to execute our own "justice" is a subtle way of trying to sit on God's throne.
How the Devil Chooses His Victims: Real-Life Scenarios
The enemy doesn't strike at random. He looks for a specific "frequency" in a person’s heart:
- The Victim of "Divine Ambition": People who feel "too big" for their current season and try to "ascend" before God’s timing.
- The Victim of Comparison: Those who spend hours looking at influencers, falling for the lie that they must manufacture their own glory through "attachments."
- The Victim of Trauma: Like Jonah, the devil uses your past pain to make you a Judge. He wants you to become so bitter that you refuse to be an instrument of grace to your enemies.

Returning to the Creator’s Image" and "Breaking the Serpent’s Cycle.
Practical Steps to Break the Serpent's Cycle
To escape the serpent's trap and walk in the true image of God, the modern church must adopt these three pillars of spiritual warfare:
- Pray for the Will of God: Move past praying for your "rights" or "payback." Always pray: "Lord, not my will, but Your will be done." This removes you from the judgment seat.
- Walk in the Spirit: Shift your frequency. Galatians 5:16 tells us that walking in the Spirit is the only way to avoid fulfilling the lusts of the flesh—including the lust for power and self-glory.
- Deconstruct the Childhood Narrative: Allow the Holy Spirit to go back into your history and uproot the lies planted in your youth. Ask: "Is my anger my own, or is it a tool of the enemy?"
Returning to the Creator’s Image
The irony of the devil’s lie is this: You were already made in the image of God. You didn’t need to eat the fruit to be like Him; you were already His reflection!
When we crave to be "like God" through our own effort, fashion, or vengeance, we are actually moving away from Him. The secret to true elevation is not in "ascending" as Lucifer tried to do, but in "descending" in humility.
Please remember this: Any path that promises you "god-like" status or "justice" without the process of God-like character is a path to a fall. Don't let the ancient liar sell you a product you already own in Christ. Keep your eyes open, for the serpent is still whispering, but the Truth has already set you free.
