Stop feeling guilty! Discover the mystery of why your struggle with sin is actually proof that you are holy in the eyes of God.
The Secret Heaven Knows That You Don't
Have you ever felt like a "fake" Christian? You love Jesus, you’ve given Him your life, but then you stumble. You lose your temper, a bad thought crosses your mind, or you fall back into an old habit. Immediately, the devil whispers: "You aren't really holy. A holy person wouldn't do that."
I have a "revelational" eye-opener for you today: The fact that you are struggling is the greatest evidence that you are already holy. Let’s unfold the mind of God on this mystery.
1. The Mystery of the "Jesus Filter"
Did you know that when God looks at you, He doesn't see your mistakes first?
The moment you accepted Jesus, a legal miracle happened in Heaven. You were placed "In Christ." * The Hidden Truth: God is Holy, and Jesus is Holy. Because you are inside Jesus, God sees His holiness covering you like a perfect garment.
- The Revelation: You don't "become" holy by doing good things. You were made holy the second you believed. In the eyes of Heaven, your "status" is fixed. You are a saint who sometimes sins, not a sinner trying to become a saint.
- 🔍 THE REAL-LIFE X-RAY: Imagine putting on a pair of red-tinted sunglasses. Everything you look at turns red. When God looks at you through the "Jesus Lens," He sees you as red as the blood of Christ—perfectly clean and set apart.
2. Why the Struggle is a Good Sign
If you weren't holy, you wouldn't be fighting. You’d be enjoying the sin.
This is where many people get confused. They think "Struggle = Unholy." But the Doctrine of Holiness says the opposite.
- The Internal War: Before you knew Jesus, sin was comfortable. It was like a fish in water; the fish doesn't feel wet because that's its nature.
- The Shift: But now that you are in Christ, you have a new nature. Sin has become like sand in your eye—it’s irritating, painful, and you want it out!
- Note: You "cannot be comfortable" in sin anymore. That discomfort is the Holy Spirit inside you saying, "This doesn't belong here! You are better than this!"
3. Flesh vs. Spirit: The Battle for Your Conduct
Your struggle isn't a sign of failure; it's a sign of a fight!
The Bible explains that even though your spirit is 100% holy, your flesh (your old habits and earthly desires) is still trying to pull you back.
- The Strengthening: The Spirit of God is fighting to strengthen you. He isn't fighting against you; He is fighting for you to help you live out the holiness you already have.
- THE REAL-LIFE X-RAY: Imagine a King who was kidnapped as a baby and raised in the slums. Even after he is restored to the throne, he might still try to eat with his hands or use rough language. Is he still a King? Yes. He just needs time to learn how to act like the King he already is.
4. Preaching Holiness over "The Hustle"
Why are we preaching about "getting cars" when people are dying inside because of guilt?
Modern preaching often focuses on pride, wealth, and "big living." But true "revelational" preaching tells the truth: Your peace doesn't come from your bank account; it comes from knowing you are right with God.
- The Eye-Opener: A wealthy man with a dirty conscience is a prisoner. A struggling man who knows he is "Seen in Christ" is a King.
- The Call: We must stop judging holiness by outward "pride" and start seeing it as a gift from God that empowers us to overcome our flesh.
Walk with Your Head High
If you are fighting a battle today, don't let the devil tell you that you've lost your holiness. The very fact that you hate the sin and want to please God proves that the Holy Spirit is alive and well in you.
The Final Revelation:
You are not a "work in progress" trying to earn God’s love. You are a Holy Child of God who is learning how to walk.
The next time you stumble, don't run away from God in shame. Run to Him in confidence, because you are in Christ, and He is not letting go of you.
Does this change how you see your daily walk? Let’s talk about it in the comments below!
